At Veterans Village of San Diego, we are proud to stand alongside some of California’s most dedicated veteran service organizations as a member of the California Association of Veteran Service Agencies (CAVSA).
California is home to the largest homeless veteran population in the nation — one in three homeless veterans lives here. That reality demands collaboration, shared resources, and a unified voice. CAVSA brings together organizations from San Diego to San Francisco to Los Angeles, and together we advocate at the state level, share lessons learned, and fight for the housing, mental health, and supportive services our veterans deserve.
As this video reminds us: “No one who wore this uniform should be sleeping on the same streets they were once asked to defend.”
We believe that. We live that mission every day. And we are honored to be part of a coalition that amplifies our work and the voices of veterans across California.
