VVSD offers a wide range of programs


Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD) offers Transitional Housing options to eligible veterans who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless and want to achieve a smooth transition into permanent housing. Rent is affordable and based on income. Apartments are fully furnished with laundry facilities on site and supportive services are available.

Veterans need to provide:
– A verified source of income to support stable housing.
– Verified household income at or below 50% based on HUD area median income level and household size.


Employment & Training Services primary objective is to help veterans of all eras, including those recently separated from the military, prepare for and find new careers or resume previous career paths.

Homeless Court

The Homeless Court Program provides the perfect partnership between the court, prosecutor, public defender, and local service agencies to help resolve legal issues for the homeless population.


Veterans Rehabilitation Center is a 224 bed state-licensed drug and alcohol rehabilitation center that serves men and women military veterans.
