Thank you for volunteering for Stand Down 2022. We are so excited you are going to join us this year.
Putting together a large scale event in this “living with Covid” time has provided many challenges. But, we know if we work together and continue to be flexible we can bring a meaningful, impactful, and transformative weekend to our veterans experiencing homelessness or at risk for experiencing it.
To do our best to protect our vulnerable populations, all volunteers must show proof of vaccination or certify they had a negative covid test within 24 hours of the event. Volunteers will be responsible for providing their own transportation and meals. Water and snacks will be provided. All volunteers during the event must be over the age of 18. However, youth groups with adult supervision and teens volunteering with their parents may assist in set-up and tear-down before and after the event.
